Forced connection part 2

Combining words into sentences.

This is the sentences that our whole class , 1M do together.
After this class, I have more interactive with my classmates.
It is quite fun class.
This is a great vocabulary builder for us.
The sentences can be story , poem or just non-relate things that combine together to make it interesting.
This is not a game only for child, for us, we can learn about creative in thinking , to have special ideas or improve our English language also through this vocabulary builder.
Then we also doing this in group and individual too.
This is my individual work.

If you feel that the vocabulary is not enough for you to build, you can also press for more words.
Then you can build more longer sentences or poem.
I love this vocabulary builder ! It is nice, I want to let my family to play this also.
This can be a game that closer the friends or family relationship, why not we try it ?

Week 8 : face emotions

Face emotion in kitchen.

This is a stove in my house kitchen.
For me, this show a face saw something scaring, or maybe it is a cute face like a baby with a pacifier.

This is a cooking machine. The 'plus' and 'minus' button is increase or decrease the temperature of machine when cooking.
When this two button with the small screen above show a small face , open its mouth with surprise.
Maybe the beside button can be pimple on the face.
It is funny!

This face like feeling so embarrassing . :目
The holder of the kitchen cabinet like a long shape eyes .Then, it is hood below the cabinet like a mouth with teeth.
The handle of cooking pan like a mouth move to the side.
Maybe it is a angry face . The face very angry until the mouth crooked.

A face who is smoking .The long shape eyes with the mouth, then the white color wire like a man who have a cigarette.
Maybe it feels very upset , so it just has a cigarette for release stress.

A helpless face. The eyes show very no mood and speechless.

The steel on top the blue color cover of sauce box act like eyes, so there are three pair of eyes.
Besides, the handle of sauce box like tongue .
My conclusion is maybe it can be the face show disdain, hate someone or a child show his/her temper to parents.

We have this lesson, because this connects to our thinking skill.
We need to observe the things around us , anything may become our thinking sources.

The exactly face on the cup. Haha, just for fun upload this.

Forced connection

This week lesson we learn about forced connections.
Forced connection is designed to make two unrelated concepts form into a relationship between them.
I had choose the thing, cup to draw into six different emotion or adjective.
The other choices is like plug, candle, clock and more.
I choose cup because I think it is more easier than others actually.Haha.
First adjective is passionate. At the beginning, I was confused.
I have no ideas. So , I just add a pair of wings for cup to show that passionate until want to fly.
But after the lecturer give me some opinions,I decided to change.
This is what I draw in iPad (sketchbook app) instead of paper, I add a spring !
Hey, see the cup is jumping !!
The second emotion is sad.
Maybe I can draw some tears, but I decided just turn over the cup on the floor.
This shows today it feels sad, reject to have any water.
Third adjective,brave.

Actually, I drew in not stable triangle shape to represent it is brave, not scared to fall and be broken.
Then, it is creative.
The cup becomes a pattern when putting another cup that face down below the upper cup.
I also changed the handle position.
Besides, let's see the greedy cup.
I drew a small mouth but enlarged the base of the cup to show that the cup is greedy for more as the body of the cup gets to fill more water or something else.
So, the cup is greedy want to take many things although it only have a very small mouth.
Then, here is the last adjective, hardworking.
This cup is bigger than others because it is hardworking to take more water than other cup.
Thank you . Wish you enjoy!

Analogical Thinking.

Exercise1
This is the photo that I take from my school area, I found this beside the canteen.
This is a garden lamp stand , it's lamp top like a small house that can put in something .
The below part was a stick to stand the above part , like a bird house.
Another thing that I found in my school area is pot of flower.
In my first sign in this photo, I though that red flower was little birds on the plants, so beautiful.

Exercise2

I not sure what name this plant is , but I take the photo from my house's small garden.
This plant like bamboo, so I automatic relate this with cane.
When I was in primary school, we can see canes with every teacher.
This is a nice memory for me because after primary school , even my parents and teachers are not using this again.

For this tree, do you see anything ?

The shape of the tree top just like a poodle's head although their leaf or the fur can be cut in any shapes.

From this lesson, I learn that we can create our creativity on the things around us. Before this, I do research when I stuck in my drawing or design homework. Now, I realise not every thing can found on Internet , that means copy actually.Creative can be create.

Lateral Thinking.

I like this lesson very much , it is very interesting ! Lateral Thinking.
About this lesson, we need to think and answer the questions.
Actually it maybe a simple question, but our idea difficult it .
So it is quite fun for this class.
Although these are very easy questions, but I only can answer two questions correct.
These are great for us to think something out of the box, something creative.
The question can helps us practice our thinking skills. We need to think for solving problems in our daily life. Not all the question everybody know how to answer,so the lecturer keep tell us to think out of the box.

my research, Edward de Bono defines lateral thinking as a methods of thinking concerned with changing concepts and perception.
Besides, this involves looking at a situation or problem from a unique or unexpected point of view.More creative answer can be arrived from different or more unique viewpoint when facing a situation or problem.Everyone have different opinions. The ideas may not be obtainable by using the only traditional logic.

Mind mapping-PEACE

About the peace , we will imagine to the safe world, no more war and sadness, it was happiness at all.
My group is doing the "Peace" topic.
It can be inner peace and world peace.
Firstly, the inner peace is a state of mind, body and soul, a peace within ourselves.
Let me have some examples, we need inner peace when we have a stressful time in school as a student, at work or having a social and relationship problem. For this, we will need a little break time to have inner peace to release our stress.
We always realise that is no place for us to vent.We can find someone that we trust from family or friends to discuss about the problem and overcome it.
If we have no one to vent our stress, we can find a quiet place that we like such as sea.
Inner peace is found when we feel calm and comfortable in our mind .
Otherwise, world peace is an ideal of freedom, peace and happiness among the nation. It is relate among the nation and world.
World peace can be found when there is no violence among the nation or when people around could live with freedom, peace and happiness.
The reason we need inner peace and world peace because the world will be a comfortable place to live.Besides, we can also improve ability to focus our mind.
Keep ourselves strong in the force of discord or stress is the way to have inner peace. Then, we can have a mutual agreement between the nation to keep the world peace.
Peace is really a important thing in our life.

Broken the Rules.

Lounge Chair.

This is a design of lounge chair from a Korean designer Jung Myung Taek.
Along with his fun personality he created this piece of art and named it Ducking Lounge Chair because it's shape is like beak of a duck.

Actually I feel it is not comfortable for us to rest.
Undeniable it is really a design that attracted my attention.

The Crooked House.

This is "a little crooked house" called Krzywy Domek as a local name.
It located in Sopot, Poland,
is home to many popular shops, restaurants, and even a radio station designed by
Jan Marcin Szancer and Per Dahlberg.

The Basket Building.

The Longaberger Company in Newark, Ohio might just be a strangest office building in the world.
Dave Longaberger wanted all of the Longaberger buildings to be shaped like baskets,
but only the headquarters was completed at the time of his death.

Shoe hat.

The high-heeled Schiaparelli shoe hat was created in 1937 in collaboration with Salvador Dali.
The idea came from a photograph taken in 1933 by Dali's wife Gala,
showing the artist wearing a woman's shoe on his head and another one on his shoulder.

Lobster Telephone.

This piece of art was created by Salvador Dali in 1936 and was named The Lobster Telephone.
For Dalí, telephones are sinister messengers from "Beyond" while the lobster is sexual.
With a lobster telephone, you can dial up a dream
.

Cupcake Car.

The Cupcake Car, designed by artist Lisa Pongrace is a car which made up of fabric,
wood and sheet metal that cost up to $25,000.

The Cupcake Car was originally conceived as a rolling art installation for the
bohemian-themed Burning Man event held annually in Black Rock Desert, Nev.

There are some others weird building such as houses that the designer has broke the rules in their designs.

The Spaceship House.

This is a weird house called ''The Spaceship House" in Chattanooga.

Teapot house.

The Teapot Dome, a strange house in Zillah.
It was built in 1922 .

Toilet House.

The Toilet-shaped house, in Suwon (South Korea).

Paul Poiret called himself as the ‘King of Fashion’. He was born in 1879 in Paris and apprenticed to an umbrella maker.
When he still young, he used leftover scraps of umbrella material to make dolls’ dresses and sell some his sketches to a local dressmaker.
After a while he started to sell designs to large couture houses in Paris.

He employed the language of Oriental to develop the romantic and theatrical possibilities of clothing.
He led a fashion renaissance that introduced free-flowing dresses, replaced tight corsets with brassieres, and added a new standard of artistic value to his fashion plates.

These are his designs.
